SYNTORIAL HOLIDAY SALE DOWNLOAD
The vaguely Serum-like wavetable synth Scythe is very heavily discounted ($1.99 for the iPad version, $.99 for the iPhone version), so worth picking up if you have small change.Īnd of course there are some good free synths out there, such as AudioKit SynthOne or Primer, the built-in synth from Syntorial which is also available as a free standalone – though you get the same synth (just without AUv3 functionality) and five free chapters of Syntorial if you just download the actual Syntorial app.Īs always, thesoundtestroom has useful video demoes of sounds and interface.People can find numerous options online to consider and shop at Cougar Chemical, using online coupon codes and discounts. LayR has absolutely stunning factory sounds and is capable of wonders, but is quite fiddly to roll your own sounds in Kaspar offers a user-friendlier version of the same multi-synth layering model, though with a less gorgeous interface and slightly underwhelming factory patches.īeepStreet’s Sunrizer and Zeeon are both great all-rounders, but I don’t think they’re on sale at the moment if you do go for Sunrizer, be sure to check out this gorgeous free preset bank from Spidericemidas.
SYNTORIAL HOLIDAY SALE PATCH
A lot depends on how much actual roll-your-own patch programming you feel you’ll want to do Synthmaster Player is a presets player rather than a fully-functioning synth (though the desktop version of the full Synthmaster 2.9 is also on sale), but has so many excellent factory and IAP presets as to be worth it anyway, though it’s not programmable like Synthmaster One (a completely different synth, currently iPad-only, though a universal version is in the pipeline). If you’ve already got Animoog, Model 15 and Model D are very different and both well worth having, though not everyone will find the cabled modular interface on Model 15 to their taste. Of those on sale, the Moog and Synthmaster synths are MPE-compliant (as well as being outstanding synths anyway), so you can do slides and bends with the I1. If I were to add another - or at the outside, two more, which would you go for and why? And while I know that I should match my my synths to the music I want to make, I don’t know enough about their similarities and differences to know which ones would actually fit and especially, which ones will duplicate what I already have and which one’s won’t.Īny thoughts would be really brilliant - especially while the Holiday Sale time is still on. I’m wondering what other synth you might recommend? I know all of the Yonac apps are on sale (Kauldron, Magellan, Kaspar, etc), VirSyn’s apps are also on sale (Addictive Pro, Standard, Micro, and others), Zeeon gets a lot of positive mentions, and I’ve recently learned about SynthScraper, mood, Sunrizer, and LayR. I have Animoog (lucky enough to grab it on a rare $4.99 sale!) and Poseidon Synth (also grabbed on sale recently). I have already seen that it’s ridiculously easy to purchase more music apps than anyone could ever possibly use so I’m trying to get a little variety without getting every single synth out there. I have a couple of synths and I’m considering getting another (potentially during the holiday sales). I’m hoping you might share some of your expertise.
